March 3, 2025 - Manatee Pocket Mooring Balls, Port Salerno, Florida

It is partly cloudy and windy today.  It looks like it might rain.

We stayed on the boat and had breakfast and read.  Kip used the dinghy and cleaned the water line on the boat.

We eventually took the dinghy to the dock and walked around.  I bought a sweatshirt and a sticker ("I'd rather be in Stuart, Florida") from the marina.  We also got ice cream and sat outside and watched the world go by.

At around 5:00 p.m. we dinghied to Shrimpers restaurant to meet Doug and Gwen for dinner.  During dinner it started to rain, but the waitress lowered the plexiglass, so we stayed dry.  Doug has a nice book collection, and he brought Kip a Florida western book for us to read!

We dinghied back to the boat in the sprinkles, put the dinghy back on the swim platform, and did a final check to make sure all was stowed.  We watched "Blue Bloods" and were in bed by 10 p.m.
