Sunday
We had a relaxing morning. Kip and I packed up our chairs mid-day and biked to the beach. Jeff and Laura are meeting us there.
It is really windy today, so instead of using our own umbrellas we rented a heavy-duty one. Laura and Jeff arrived a while later, and they got another umbrella so we could stay out of the sun.
Laura and I immediately went in the water and spent some time chatting. The water was cooler than the day before, but it was refreshing. Kip joined us for a few minutes. We had a really nice day, but then the clouds rolled in, and it sprinkled a bit (which was fine).
We wanted to go to the pool, so we packed up and met them there. We swam until later in the afternoon, and then had to get showered because we are going to the Lynyrd Skynyrd ZZ - Top concert at the Hard Rock Hotel. We called an Uber and Jeff and Laura met us there.
Our seats were up a way, but we had a great view.
The concert was really fun! We had never seen ZZ Top before, and they didn't disappoint. Skynyrd was great, as usual. After the concert we grabbed some Asian food and drop some coins into the slot machines. Jeff and Laura decided to leave (since they had an hour drive to get back to their rv). Kip and I stayed, and I had fun on the slots. I only lost $10 over a couple of hours' time. Not too bad.
It is now 1:00 a.m., and we called an Uber to take us back to the marina.
