Today our friends Jeff and Laura are driving their rv closer to Hollywood so we can hang out. We are excited to see them.
Kip wanted to go to the beach again, but I made a compromise, and we went to the pool instead. It is only a 5-minute bike ride instead of a 20-minute bike ride, and we don't have to bring chairs or umbrellas in our backpacks.
We hung out at the pool for a quite a while. There were plenty of activity - a big lizard swam across the pool and up a tree, kids were practicing their swimming, etc.
We are meeting Jeff and Laura at the beach for dinner. We decided on Rocco's Pzza. After dinner we (of course) had to stop for ice cream. We both took off (Jeff and Laura on a Harley trike and us on our rusty bicycles).
