November 17, 2022

Sanroc Cay Marina, Orange Beach, Alabama

It is 47 degrees out this morning.  Kip made waffles for breakfast, and we put on as much clothing as possible and started out on a bike ride.

We started at Cotton Bayou Trail in Golf State Park.   After quite a while, we ended up at Gulf Shores.  Jeff and Laura were telling us about these trails and how nice they were.  We had no idea we would run into them ourselves.

Looking for alligators at Alligator Marsh!

We didn't realize how far we had gone because, man, it was a long haul back.  We stopped at Publix to pick up a few items.  Kip checked his phone and the packages have arrived!

Kip installed the Wallas stove/heater (which took longer than he thought it would, but it usually does).  It looks great and works even better!  Our coffee pot also arrived, so we are all set.

While Kip was fiddling around, cleaning up and such, I took a 2-hour POWER NAP!  In my defense, the door to the boat was open for quite a while and I was freezing, so I had to go into my sleeping bag.

We had dinner, played dominoes, and listening to music.  It is going to be cold again tomorrow, so we have no idea what we will be doing.  I know, for fact, we will be warm in the boat!
