Sanroc Cay Marina, Orange Beach, Alabama
Our mission today is to take the old Wallas stove/heater to UPS and mail it home. We have no car, so... where there's a will, there's a way!
After mailing the old stove, we stopped at the hardware store and a beach shop, then went back to the boat. We got back and I realized that I grabbed the wrong size sweatpants, so I had to bike back and exchange it.
When I got back, Kip packed lunch and we sat on the beach for a number of hours. It was bright and sunny but cool, and there were quite a few people walking the shore and looking for shells,
We went back when the sun started to go down. Kip is still waiting for a part for the Wallas, and he had to solve a problem that occurred because of that part, but he got it working! We are extremely tired, but we played some dominoes, ate dinner, and tucked in. I didn't realize that I didn't update the blog until the morning, so this is late. Oops.
We are flying home on December 7th, snow be damned!

Where will you leave Kips Ahoy II when you head to MN? P.S. we (T, D & I) spent a bit of time in/around Orange Bach & Pensacol area when I was looking for Warbird conference location.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very nice area! We are planning on taking the boat out of the water and putting it into dry storage at Barber Marina, Alabama, then flying home from Pensacola.
