Woke up sweaty, cranky, with quite a few bug bites. It was a very rough night.
We left early, and it was foggy again.
The fog burned off eventually. We have about 7 hours through the Gulf to get to Bohia Honda. Kip set the course on auto pilot and away we went.
It was a fairly easy trip, except for having to dodge the crab pots. They are everywhere. As we got closer to Bohia Honda the water became so clear that Kip stopped and used an oar to make sure the depth finder on the boat was accurate. It was!
Here we are approaching Bohia Honda! We are so excited.
We got a prime slip, right next to the beach. We are going to spend a couple of weeks here.
We walked around a bit and eventually sat outside to watch the sunset. People line up on the beach and on the old bridge to see the spectacular sunset colors. There were some people on the beach with sticks creating huge bubbles.
This is definitely one of our favorite places! They have great amenities, several beaches, and we are planning on going snorkeling in a few days.
The bubble pictures are awesome!
