Monday
We were not exactly happy staying at Hollover Inlet, although there was a fun car boat going by.
There are so many derelict boats here, that we felt uncomfortable. So, we went about 16 miles north to anchor out in Lake Sylvia. It is pretty busy in this area. Many of the houses had lights and gas fires going in their yards.
We anchored out near a small bridge. When the tide was coming in and going out, our boat was spinning like a top. We kept getting close to the boat next to us, so we moved over a bit. After we had gone to bed, Kip's anchor alarm went off. He checked things and they seemed ok, but the anchor alarm kept going off. We were up for quite a while until Kip told me he would stay up, so I went back to bed. He was up until about 2:00 a.m. before he felt comfortable that we were not moving.
