Kip captured the moon this morning and also caught a couple groups of dolphins passing by.
We decided to go to Jupiter Island and check out some of the beaches. We stopped at Jupiter Beach Park and walked out to the beach, and it was extremely windy with big waves. We walked around a little bit but decided to go somewhere else. I did, however, find a Scotch Bonnet!
We then went to Dubois Park and were pleasantly surprised. The water is pretty and extremely shallow, especially when the tide was low. There were kids playing everywhere and the sand was nice. We put our chairs and umbrella up and took a walk into the water.
We sat on the beach, ate our lunch, and read for a while.
After another quick dip in the water, we decided to check out the spots to relax in the intracoastal. We pulled over alongside the road with the other cars, grabbed our stuff, and found a nice quiet spot to sit by the water. People were wading around, swimming, using stand-up paddleboards, and relaxing on their chairs.
Rain clouds blew in - we got in the car right before the rain began. We are planning on anchoring out Thursday and Friday, so we stopped at Publix for groceries and to fill our freshwater jug. Kip made chicken, sliced carrots, salad, and apples for dinner.
The sunset was extremely pretty (probably because of the rain).
