February 5 - Fort Meyers Beach to New Pass, Florida

We spent yesterday at Fort Meyers Beach hanging out with friends.

We left Fort Meyers Beach today around 8:30 a.m. and heading toward New Pass to anchor out.  It is windy and a bit cloudy.   It is low tide, so we have seen people out quite a way into the water walking and fishing.

Once at New Pass, we took the dinghy to the beach and walked around (and looked for shells).  Back at the boat, we sat and relaxed, read, and enjoyed the peace of not having to do anything.

It was amazing how many boats hang out in this cove.  Some people swam, fished, some had their dogs at the dog "beach" park or just walked on the beach.  Kip finished his book while I took a nap.  The sunset was nice, but the moon was amazing.
