We decided to spend last night at the Paris Landing Marina. The winds were 14 - 18 mph, and the clouds looked dark. Rain is coming, that's for sure.
After breakfast, we went for a walk. We checked out the other docks and walked to the Coast Guard building and checked out their tow.
There are so many turtles here in the marina - here is a big one sleeping on a rock (until he heard us). Yesterday they were sunning themselves on the rocks.
These white birds were calling out, and every time they did their necks stretched up and down. It was really funny looking!
After our walk, I did a load of laundry and, of course, the rain started. We relaxed in the boat and made supper. When the rain stopped, we sat on the dock for a while.
We tucked in after dark and listened to the Minnesota Wild hockey game. Tomorrow we are moving down the river, but today we have zero miles, not many steps, and that's ok.
