Kip woke me up BEFORE 7:00 a.m. stating we had to get going. It was a clear 39-degree morning, and there was fog coming off of the water. And, of course, a beautiful sunrise.
Here are some of the sights we saw on the way to Riverstone Marina:
The fall colors are spectacular!!
Abandoned lighthouse on the bluff.
Houses built on the rock cliffs.
Kip liked the mermaid sign and wanted to add it in the blog!
If you look closely, you can see mining holes in the side of the cliff.
Here is our home for the night - Riverstone Marina.
Today's stats:
- Today we traveled 62 miles, 8.5 hours.
- Since we left Lake City, we have gone 962 miles and 144 hours on the engine.
