Here is Kip's sunrise picture this morning.
Today we are taking the bus to Pine Island to get groceries (see red line on map below).
We biked to the bus stop and waited. When the bus arrived, it was packed. We were standing in the aisle, hanging on for dear life, talking to the people on the bus. Can you find me in the picture?
We crossed the bridges to Pine Island and crossed the street to the small mall.
We have over 2 hours to wait before the returning bus arrives, so we shopped at Bealls (LOVE THAT STORE) and then got groceries at Winn-Dixie.
We schlepped our groceries in our backpacks and purchased two Winn-Dixie bags for the remaining items.
We waited about a half hour for the bus and returned to Bohia Honda. We had too many groceries to ride the bikes back to the marina, so we walked the bikes and bags back.
After we ate lunch, we went on a long bike ride inside of Bohia Honda park. We stopped at a couple of areas along the shore, then went through the campground, etc.
There are other "loopers" in the marina, and they came over around 5:30 to where we are docked, and we had the nightly "docktails". We chatted for about an hour.
Everyone left as it got dark, and we had stir fry for supper, watched "Blue Bloods" and tucked in.
