March 24 through April 4, 2024 - Manatee Pocket to Stuart, Florida

On Sunday, March 24, Doug and Gwen picked us up to take me to the airport.  I went home to help my dad move and Kip is staying on the boat.  On Monday Kip is leaving Manatee Pocket and will be heading to the mooring balls in Stuart.

I am going to add the pictures Kip took while I was gone (instead of adding additional posts).  Enjoy!

Kip was busy while I was gone.  He spent time with his mom and Doug, worked on the boat, read books, etc.  On Tuesday, April 4th, I flew back to West Palm Beach, and they were there to pick me up!

We went to Charlie's Neighborhood Grill for dinner, and they dropped us off at the marina.

Wednesday was windy and rainy.  The wind was gusting at 40 mph.  We stayed on the boat and relaxed.  I slept quite a bit (there wasn't much sleeping at my dad's house while I was there)!

On Wednesday we hung out at the boat all day.  We decided to go to town for dinner.  We went to Luna's pizza and then to Kelwin's for ice cream.

On Thursday we rode our bikes to Publix for a few items, read, slept, and ate leftovers from dinner last night.  Kip took the dinghy to the ramp and cleaned the bottom.  I am glad to be back in Stuart!

Tomorrow we are leaving for Fort Pierce to attend the SE Florida Ranger Tug & Cutwater Rendezvous.  We are excited to see what this is all about.
