Friday
After we had coffee and breakfast, we signed out bikes and went to get groceries. Kip stopped at Dunkin Donuts so I could get a donut! YUM. We then stopped at the meat market and got a few items. Publix was next, and we had a list of items, mostly items that will last during our next leg of our trip. We spent almost $200, and we had to get them back to the boat with the two bikes (with baskets on them) and two backpacks.
We were getting funny looks because we had a pack of iced tea in one basket, a case of diet coke in the other basket, bags on each handlebar, a 12-pack of iced tea on Kip's seat of his bike, iced tea bottles (taken out of the 12-pack wrapping) stuck in wherever they would stay, and heavy backpacks as we walked back to the marina.
We unloaded the groceries and took the water jug to the dinghy dock so I could fill it up with water while Kip took the dinghy and got diesel for the motor.
We brought the water jug back to the boat and packed our backpacks so we could go and shower, plus brought our electronics so we could charge them at the marina (to save the power on the boat).
After our shower we brought our backpacks back to the boat, went back to the dinghy dock, and waited for Doug and Gwen to pick us up for supper.
They took us to a Mexican restaurant (which was good) and then we stopped at Crumbl to get cookies. The cookies were $5.00 each but were delicious.
I mentioned that the pillow I brought along from home was terrible, so Doug and Gwen drove back to their house to give me a different one. How nice was that!!! We said goodbye to Doug and Gwen, but we will see them again on our way back from the Keys.

Omg, Crumbl cookies are delicious! What flavors did you try? You’ll really enjoy all of those groceries after the trip it took to get them on board.
