We ate breakfast and decided to take the dinghy over to the beach one last time. We then drove 15 miles back to Stuart to our mooring ball. Something was weird when we got there... there was a sailboat on our mooring ball. We drove up and the man, who had an Irish accent, said "If you are looking for a mooring ball, there are some over there." I was on the bow of the boat with our boat hook at the time and I said, "We paid rent on that mooring ball for one month, it is our spot." The man then said, "The marina said we could take any open mooring ball that we find." I told him that he can, but if they are marked with a buoy or other item, they are taken. He said, Well, I guess we will have to move." We watched him drive around, and there were no open mooring balls, so we think he went on a dock by the marina.
We read for quite a while, and I took a short nap. We met Doug and Gwen at Hurricanes for happy hour and then went to the Mexican restaurant for dinner. We shared many stories and laughed quite a bit. Gwen said she was happy we are here.
We went back to the boat and listened to the Minnesota Wild Hockey game. We have a busy day tomorrow, so we will probably go to bed fairly early.

So glad you get to spend time with Gwen & Doug! Sounds like you all have lots of fun!
