April 10, 2023, Monday - Stuart, Florida

Today is extremely windy and cloudy.  We sat and drank coffee and Kip said he wanted to go to the beaches to see the 8' waves.

We drove to Blowing Rock Preserve on Jupiter Island first.  

When we got back to the car, Kip's hair was crazy!

We then went to Jupiter Inlet and checked those waves out.  They were huge as well.  

We ended our "wave" tour at Stuart Beach.  Again, crazy high waves.  There were a few people on the beach looking around or checking for shells, but the red flag at the lifeguard station was waving so nobody got very close to the shore.  Some of the waves came up as far as the dune plants.  When we were leaving, a wave soaked us, and I had to put on clothes that were in the truck that were dirty and musty from earlier.  Nasty.

We went to Publix and got a few groceries and then dinghied back to the boat.  The boat is swinging all over the place from the wind and rain.  We ate lunch, napped, read, and had spaghetti, salad, and apples for dinner.
